Journal 7 Asiya Mohamud

Part one
The most interesting character for this book was Dr.Fujii. He was very brave. When it was happened the atomic bomb in Japan, he did not flee somewhere, he tried to help his own people in the hospital. Wherever he was going, he was taking his patients. Also his family was another town. He did not go with his family. He stayed with his patient to take care. He was very nice. Second time he got injury for his shoulder. “Dr,Fujii hardly had time to think that he was dying before he realized that he was a live.” All this happened, he was not being attention, and he knew some people were worse than him in the hospital. He stayed with people got injury from atomic bomb to motivate them. He took time with his community together.

  1. I thought it was very interesting that the Emperor did not speak until they were defeated. I would of thought that the US and Japan would of tried to be in more talks of peace then the were.

  2. I like the quote you chose about Dr. Fuiji. It felt strong. As if he was not going to let himself sabotage the rest of his life. As a survivor they could constantly dwell on the awful past or they could move forward and he was a good example of that.

  3. I thought Dr. Fuiji was a pretty good guy too. He was not injured, and he had his family to think about, and he could have gone home, but he didn't. He stayed at the hospital to help people. Even when he was super tired and exhausted he kept working.
And wow that is a lot of people that Japan lost!
